Clare’s Law – Know the Signs, Know Your Rights |
Would you know what to do if a former partner unexpectedly turned up asking to see you? If you knew that person had a history of abusive or violent behaviour, your decision might be very different. That’s the purpose of Clare’s Law (Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme). Clare’s Law allows police to share information with someone who may be at risk from their current or former partner. This helps people make informed decisions about their safety. There are two ways this can happen: 💬 It’s about openness, safeguarding, and giving people the information they need to protect themselves. 📍 Come and speak to usPC Doran and PC Netto will be holding a Clare’s Law information drop-in session: 📅 Thursday 28th
If you have concerns about your own safety or someone else’s, please don’t hesitate to speak to us. 👉 In an emergency, always call 999 | ||
